The worst performing industries in the market today are: Movie Production, Theaters: This industry fell 1.9% by 11:00 am ET. Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. LGF shares dropped 6.4% in today's trading. Lions Gate Entertainment priced an offering of 10 million shares at $32 per share. Appliances: The industry dropped 1.6% by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Whirlpool Corp. WHR, which declined 1.7%. Whirlpool's trailing-twelve-month profit margin is 3.27%. Silver: This industry declined 1.2% by 11:00 am with Silvercorp Metals Inc. SVM moving down 3.8%. Silver futures fell 1.22% to trade at $16.64 an ounce. Industrial Equipment & Components: This industry tumbled 0.9% by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Pentair plc PNR, which fell 4.9%. Pentair lowered its earnings and revenue guidance for the first quarter.
