Royal Caribbean Cruises Spikes Higher Following S&P 500 Announcement

S&P Dow Jones Indices announced Monday it will make changes to the S&P 500 and S&P MidCap 400 Monday after the close on Thursday, December 4.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd RCL will replace Bemis Company, Inc. BMS in the S&P 500, and Bemis will replace Concur Technologies, Inc. CNQR in the S&P MidCap 400.

Royal Caribbean Cruises closed Monday down 1.97 percent to $72.29. Following the S&P announcement, the stock spiked up 3.7 percent to $74.99.
