Alnylam Pharmaceuticals ALNY jumped 12.08% to $81.65 after the company reported six-month clinical data from patisiran phase 2 OLE study in patients with familial amyloidotic polyneuropathy. Atlas Pipeline Partners LP APL shares rose 10.77% to $37.24 after Targa Resources Partners LP NGLS and Targa Resources Corp TRGP announced the purchase of Atlas Pipeline Partners LP and Atlas Energy LP ATLS for $7.7 billion. Lakeland Industries LAKE shares gained 9.37% to $21.47 after rising 10.78% on Friday. J. C. Penney Company JCP shares gained 3.79% to $7.39 after the company named Marvin Ellison as President and CEO-Designee. The company also reported that Mike Ullman will become Executive Chairman of the Board. Arch Coal ACI jumped 2.67% to $1.54 after the company reported preliminary Q3 adjusted EBITDA of $70 to $74 million and reported available liquidity as of September 30th of $1.3 billion.
