STAAR Surgical Company (NASDAQ: STAA) shares jumped 22.45% to $18.82 after the company reported that the FDA voted in favor of Visian Toric Implantable Collamer Lens. Canaccord Genuity upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy and raised the price target from $14.00 to $20.00.

Kandi Technolgies Group (NASDAQ: KNDI) shares jumped 14.11% to $19.81 after the company reported fourth-quarter results. Kandi Technolgies posted its Q4 adjusted profit of $4.6 million on revenue of $50.60 million.

JA Solar Holdings, Co (NASDAQ: JASO) shares jumped 11.03% to $12.68 on strong quarterly earnings report. JA Solar reported its Q4 earnings of $0.16 per share on revenue of $357.30 million.

SINA (NASDAQ: SINA) shares climbed 10% to $71.05 on $500 million Weibo IPO filing.

Hertz Global Holdings (NYSE: HTZ) shares jumped 7.78% to $28.00 after the Financial Times reported on Friday that the company was close to a $4.5 billion spinoff of its equipment rentals division.

Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO) rose 3.96% to $39.09 on announcement of Alibaba New York IPO.
