Apple AAPL didn't have any major products to unveil this week, but the Mac maker did make one major announcement. Once again, Apple has set a new record for quarterly iPhone sales. Meanwhile, Google GOOG got out of the smartphone manufacturing business and sold Motorola Mobility to Lenovo LNVGY. Amazon AMZN was rumored to be developing a game console (again!). Super Bowl ticket prices were down in the secondary market. Piracy skyrocketed for all of ABC's shows. Microsoft MSFT could be on the verge of a new CEO. Samsung SSNLF announced its plans to release a 4K smartphone in 2015.
