The worst performing industries in the market today are:
Textile - Apparel Clothing: This industry tumbled 6.14% by 10:20 am. The worst stock within the industry was Superior Uniform Group (NASDAQ: SGC), which fell 3.2%. Superior Uniform Group's trailing-twelve-month profit margin is 3.40%.
Medical Practitioners: This industry fell 2.37% by 10:20 am ET. The worst performer in this industry was LCA-Vision (NASDAQ: LCAV), which dropped 2.5%. LCA-Vision's PEG ratio is -5.28.
Synthetics: This industry moved down 1.16% by 10:20 am, with Axiall (NYSE: AXLL) moving down 2.1%. Axiall reported that the cause of a December 20 fire that occurred in the vinyl chloride manufacturing area of the company's Lake Charles chemicals complex in Louisiana remains under investigation.
