World Bank Lowers Russia's Growth Outlook

The World Bank lowered its estimates for the Russian economy. The bank projects the country's economy to grow 1.8% in 2013, versus its earlier view of 2.3%. The bank also cut its Russian growth outlook for 2014 to 3.1% versus 3.6%. The International Monetary Fund on Tuesday also lowered its outlook for Russian growth to 1.5% versus 2.5%.
