SAIC Awarded $73M Contract by U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) SAI announced today it was awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) to support its Shore Networks Branch with base level information infrastructure sustainment services. The multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a three-year base period of performance, and a potential contract value of approximately $73 million. Work will be performed primarily in San Diego, Calif. SAIC is one of three awardees that will compete for task orders under the contract. SSC Pacific is the Navy's premier research, development, test, and evaluation laboratory for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. Its Shore Networks Branch is responsible for the full life cycle support of shore networks, network components and network service solutions. It also provides direct mission critical support to ground units worldwide and other mission critical operational sites ashore. Under the contract, SAIC will support SSC Pacific's Shore Networks Branch with sustainment services, including: project management; engineering, technical, and integrated logistics support; configuration management; certification and accreditation; and enterprise applications. The contract also offers shore networks support, such as technical assistance, engineering, design, accreditation, integration, production, sustainment, and upgrade support for non-integrated shore systems, network components and network service solution.
