A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 115 points to 14,596.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 13.40 points to 1,570.70. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 17.25 points to 2,847.75. A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index tumbled 1.47%, London's FTSE 100 index dropped 1.68%, French CAC 40 Index declined 1.82% and German DAX 30 index fell 1.15%. Asian markets ended lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 1.26%, China's Shanghai Composite dropping 5.30% and Australia's ASX/S&P500 falling 1.54%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index declined 2.22% and India's Sensex tumbled 1.24%. Broker Recommendation Analysts at Piper Jaffray upgraded PVH PVH from “neutral” to “overweight.” The target price for PVH has been raised from $124 to $141. PVH's shares closed at $121.00 on Friday.
