Idenix Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: IDIX) plunged 28.65 percent to $3.66 after the US Food and Drug Administration requested additional preclinical safety information for its IDX20963.

Ebix (NASDAQ: EBIX) dipped 17.06 percent to $9.12 as Ebix and an affiliate of Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) announced late Wednesday their agreement to terminate their previously announced merger agreement.
