Afternoon Market Losers

Idenix Pharmaceuticals IDIX plunged 28.65 percent to $3.66 after the US Food and Drug Administration requested additional preclinical safety information for its IDX20963.

Ebix EBIX dipped 17.06 percent to $9.12 as Ebix and an affiliate of Goldman Sachs GS announced late Wednesday their agreement to terminate their previously announced merger agreement. The merger agreement, announced on May 1, 2013, had provided for Ebix to be acquired by an affiliate of Goldman Sachs for $20 per share in cash.

Companhia Paranaense de Energia ELP dropped 14.57 percent to $11.90 after shares consolidated around $15.00 for the past few weeks and opened below $14.00 on Friday.

Uni-Pixel UNXL tumbled 12 percent to $12.61, the move may be attributed to a negative Seeking Alpha article.

National Bank of Greece NBG traded down 9.42 percent to $4.23 after the bank reported that it had raised enough money to avoid state control.

Revolution Lighting Technologies RVLT dropped 7.01 percent to $3.58.

Oracle ORCL dropped 8.22 percent to $30.48 after the company reported downbeat fiscal fourth-quarter revenue.
