Stocks Hitting 52-Week Highs

Smithfield Foods SFD shares surged 25.22% to create a new 52-week high of $32.52 after the company agreed to be bought by Chinese Shuanghui Group for around $4.8 billion. Service Corp. International SCI shares gained 9.99% to touch a new 52-week high of $19.38 after the company announced its plans to buy Stewart Enterprises STEI for $13.25 per share in cash. CEC Entertainment CEC shares created a new 52-week high of $40.435. CEC Entertainment's trailing-twelve-month ROE is 28.42%. Wet Seal WTSL shares gained 7.33% to reach a new 52-week high of $4.83 after the company posted a profit in the first quarter and issued an upbeat outlook for the second quarter.
