GM China Sales Surge 15% In April

Sales by General Motors Co GM and its joint ventures in China surged 15% to 261,870 units in April. GM's joint venture with SAIC Motor rose 29% to 121,559 units last month, while sales at its joint-venture with FAW Group declined 0.3% to 5,124 units. GM shares fell 0.40% to $31.97 in after-hours trading.
