KBR Building Group Awarded Design-Build Contract for New Aircraft Manufacturing Facility in Red Oak, Texas

KBR KBR announced today that KBR Building Group has been awarded a contract by Triumph Aerostructures — Vought Aircraft Division, a subsidiary of Triumph Group,Inc., to design and construct a new manufacturing facility in Red Oak, Texas. The 730,000-square-foot assembly and composites fabrication facility will manufacture integrated aerostructures for commercial, military and business jet aircraft. Site work has begun with occupancy slated for the second half of 2013. “We are proud to partner with Triumph Aerostructures – Vought Aircraft Division as they continue to build out the Red Oak campus,” said Philip Southerland, President, KBR Building Group. “We constructed Triumph Aerostructures – Vought Aircraft Division's first production facility at this site last year.
