Western Union Signs Three-Year Deal with Walmart Canada

The Western Union Company (NYSE: WU), a leader in global payment services, today announced a three-year renewal agreement with Walmart Canada. Under the terms of the agreement, more than 330 Walmart locations in Canada will continue to offer Western Union^® global money transfer services.

“We are pleased to extend our relationship with Walmart Canada and further demonstrate the value that Western Union can bring to retailers, as they seek to enhance customer loyalty and identify new revenue opportunities,” said, Odilon Almeida, president, Americas, Western Union.

Our international scale, coupled with a globally-recognized brand known for speed and reliability, is the foundation that customers rely upon,” concluded Almeida.
