US Stock Futures Up Ahead Of ISM Data

US stock futures are higher this morning, as investors are awaiting economic data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 42 points to 13,887.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 5.90 points to 1,499.20. Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 7.50 points to 2,719.00. US stocks closed lower on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropping 0.93% to 13,880.08, the S&P 500 index falling 1.15% to 1,495.71 and the Nasdaq 100 index tumbling 1.51% to 3,131.17. The ISM non-manufacturing index for January will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Kellogg Company K is projected to report its Q4 earnings at $0.66 per share on revenue of $3.44 billion. Archer Daniels Midland Company ADM is expected to report its Q4 earnings at $0.56 per share on revenue of $23.67 billion. The Walt Disney Company DIS is estimated to post its Q1 EPS at $0.76 on revenue of $11.21 billion. CH Robinson Worldwide CHRW is expected to post its Q4 EPS at $0.70 on revenue of $2.87 billion. Becton, Dickinson and Company BDX is estimated to report its Q1 earnings at $1.24 per share on revenue of $1.86 billion. Computer Sciences CSC is expected to report its Q3 earnings at $0.62 per share on revenue of $3.76 billion. Expedia EXPE is projected to post its Q4 earnings at $0.65 per share on revenue of $929.84 million. Emerson Electric Co EMR is estimated to report its Q1 earnings at $0.62 per share on revenue of $5.43 billion. Zynga ZNGA is projected to post a Q4 loss at $0.03 per share on revenue of $212.11 million. Yum! Brands YUM reported a 5% drop in its fourth-quarter profit. Yum Baidu BIDU reported a 36% surge in its fourth-quarter profit. European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.54%, London's FTSE 100 Index gained 0.40%, German DAX 30 Index rose 0.04% and French CAC 40 Index surged 0.84%. Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 1.90%, China's Shanghai Composite surging 0.20% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 Index dropping 0.54%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index declined 2.27% and India's Sensex dropped 0.46%.
