Capstone Received Delisting Notice from NASDAQ

On December 21, 2012, Capstone Turbine Corporation CPST received a notice from the Listing Qualifications Department of the Nasdaq Stock Market (“Nasdaq”) stating that, for the last 30 consecutive business days, the closing bid price for the Company's common stock had been below the minimum $1.00 per share requirement for continued listing on the Nasdaq Global Market as set forth in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5450(a)(1). In accordance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), the Company has been provided 180 calendar days, or until June 19, 2013, to regain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement. In order to regain compliance, the bid price of the Company's common stock must close at $1.00 per share or more for a minimum of ten consecutive business days, at which time Nasdaq would provide written confirmation of the Company's compliance.
