Highwoods Properties Prices $250M Offering 3.625% Senior Notes

Highwoods Properties, Inc. HIW today announced that Highwoods Realty Limited Partnership, the operating partnership through which the Company conducts virtually all of its operations, has priced a $250 million offering of 3.625% senior unsecured notes under its existing shelf registration. The notes are due January 15, 2023 and were priced to yield 3.752%. The offering is expected to close on December 18, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions. The net proceeds from the sale of the notes will be used to reduce amounts outstanding under the Company's $475 million revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes. Wells Fargo Securities, LLC and Jefferies & Company, Inc. served as joint book-running managers and BB&T Capital Markets, a division of Scott & Stringfellow, LLC, Capital One Southcoast, Inc., Comerica Securities, Inc., Fifth Third Securities, Inc., Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, RBC Capital Markets, LLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. served as co-managers.
