The storm lead to the closure of US financial markets Tuesday, but it was announced that trading would resume Wednesday at 9:30 am as normal. Commodities In commodity news, oil traded up 0.17 percent to $86.76, while gold traded up 0.08 percent to $1,710.10. Silver traded up 0.06 percent Tuesday to $31.81. Euro Zone In the Eurozone was relatively quiet this morning, with markets trading up roughly one percent across the board. In Athens, the Greek government announced a delay on its austerity vote for another week, warning that there would be financial chaos if a deal was not reached. Economics There were no economic reports as data was delayed due to hurricane Sandy.
