Japanese exports declined 10.3% y/y in September, while imports climbed 4.1%, according the Ministry of Finance. Economists were expecting exports to drop 10%. The country's deficit came in at 558.6 billion yen ($7 billion). However, economists were expecting a trade gap of ¥547.9 billion.
