Frank O'Toole has been named
president of Gannett Supply Corporation, Gannett Chief Financial Officer
Victoria Harker announced today. Gannett Supply is responsible for companywide
sourcing of all commodities used in publishing, broadcasting and digital
services, including services, equipment and supplies.
O'Toole has served as vice president of Gannett Supply since 2010; previously,
he also served in a variety of information technology and corporate finance
roles within Gannett since 1994. He succeeds Karen Moreno, who is retiring
after 32 years of service to Gannett.
"Karen has been a strong contributor to and leader within the company," said
Harker. "We wish her the very best in the years to come. Likewise, we are
looking forward to Frank's success in his new role, as he leverages his broad
industry experience in large-scale, complex purchasing arrangements, combined
with information technology and tools, to achieve even greater momentum for
Gannett Supply in the future."
O'Toole lives in Oakton, VA, with his wife Lora and five children.
