General Cable Corp Announces $550M Private Offering of Senior Notes

General Cable Corporation BGC today announced that, subject to market conditions, it intends to offer $550 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2022 (the “Notes”) in an offering exempt from registration under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”). The Notes will be offered only to qualified institutional buyers in reliance upon Rule 144A under the Securities Act and non-U.S. persons outside of the United States in reliance upon Regulation S under the Securities Act.
