announced that Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Qualcomm Incorporated, has resigned from A123's Board of Directors, effective July 23, 2012. "My time serving on A123's Board of Directors has been a very rewarding experience and I am grateful for the opportunity," said Jacobs. "I have elected to step down from A123's board to focus on Qualcomm's growing and increasingly diverse business."
