Procera Receives Initial $1.4 Million Order - European MSO

Procera Networks, Inc. PKT, the intelligent policy enforcement company, today announced it has received a $1.4 million initial order that originated from a European MSO for network-wide deployment of its PacketLogic™ Intelligent Policy Enforcement systems. These systems will support detailed subscriber-aware traffic analysis and reporting across the operator's subscriber base. This operator selected Procera in a competitive selection process as a replacement for an existing solution. Procera expects to recognize the majority of revenue related to this order in the second quarter of 2012. "Procera's selection by this MSO reflects our strength in the cable market worldwide," said Paul Gracie, Vice President of Sales for EMEA at Procera. "European cable operators face intense competition for broadband services and are actively seeking solutions that can increase their visibility into subscriber Quality of Experience (QoE). With the dramatic increase in streaming traffic on broadband networks, including Wi-Fi offload from tablets and smartphones, cable operators require real-time visibility into the subscriber experience."
