Genstar Capital To Acquire eResearch Technology

Genstar Capital announced its plans to buy eResearch Technology Inc ERT for $8 per share in a deal valued at $400 million. The price represents a 42% premium to ERT's closing level of $7.84 per share on Monday, and 42% above its 52-week average price. ERT shares closed at $7.84 yesterday.
