Pre-open movers
US stock futures are mostly flat this morning, as investors are awaiting jobs data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1 point to 12,845.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 0.80 points to 1,359.80. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 1.25 points to 2,631.75.
A Peek Into Global Markets
European markets were mostly higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index gained 0.14%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.09%, French CAC 40 index rose 0.06% and German DAX 30 index gained 0.37%.
Asian markets ended higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.65%, China's Shanghai Composite gaining 0.79% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving up 0.90%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index rose 0.89% and India's Sensex gained 2.09%.
Broker Recommendation
Analysts at Jefferies & Company upgraded Cavium Inc CAVM from “hold” to “buy.” The target price for Cavium has been raised from $32 to $44.
Cavium shares closed at $32.70 yesterday.
