US Stock Futures Flat Ahead Of Jobs Data

US stock futures are mostly flat this morning, as investors are awaiting jobs data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 7 points to 12,837.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 1.30 points to 1,359.30. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 2 points to 2,631.00. US stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.55% to 12,907.94, the S&P 500 index surging 0.98% to 1,365.91 and the Nasdaq 100 index jumping 1.18% to 2,970.42. Data on non-farm payrolls for February and trade deficit for January will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. Data on wholesale inventories for January will be released at 10 a.m. ET. ANN Inc ANN is expected to report its Q4 EPS at $0.09 on revenue of $566.89 million. Carnival Corp CCL to post a FQ1 loss at $0.07 per share on revenue of $3.57 billion. Dolan Company (The) DM is estimated to post its Q4 EPS at $0.09 on revenue of $74.88 million. Hibbett Sports Inc HIBB is expected to post its quarterly EPS at $0.56 on revenue of $192.45 million. U S Concrete Inc USCR is expected to post a Q4 loss at $0.35 per share on revenue of $121.00 million. Aeropostale Inc ARO reported upbeat Q4 adjusted earnings and sales. Texas Instruments Incorporated TXN lowered its quarterly forecast. Boston Scientific Corp BSX announced its plans to buy privately-held Cameron Health Inc. European markets were mostly lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index dropped 0.02%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.10%, French CAC 40 index fell 0.13% and German DAX 30 index gained 0.16%. Asian markets ended higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.65%, China's Shanghai Composite gaining 0.79% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving up 0.90%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index rose 0.89% and India's Sensex gained 2.09%. Crude oil futures for April delivery gained $0.25 to $106.84 a barrel, while gold futures for April delivery rose $1.30 to $1,700 an ounce. The ICE dollar index (DXY) gained 0.30% to 79.40, up from 79.090 late the prior day.
