US Airways Reports Rise In February Traffic

US Airways Group Inc LCC reported a 7.9% y/y rise in its February traffic. US Airways' traffic climbed to 4.3 billion revenue passenger miles. Its mainline load factor came in at 78.3%, up 1.5 percentage points from the year-ago period. On a consolidated basis, passenger revenue per available seat mile climbed 7%. US Airways shares gained 2.97% to close at $7.63 on Friday.
