Waddell & Reed Financial Increases Dividend by 25% to $0.25

The Board of Directors of Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc.

approved an increase in the quarterly dividend on its Class A common stock to $0.25 per share payable on February 1, 2012 to stockholders of record as of January 3, 2012. This new quarterly rate represents an increase of 25% over the previous $0.20 dividend per share rate.
