A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 78 points to 12,065.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 9.60 points to 1,243.40. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 13 points to 2,305.50. A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index dropped 0.49%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.45%, French CAC 40 index fell 0.94% and German DAX 30 index dipped 1.45%. Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average gaining 1.3748%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving up 1.11% and China's Shanghai Composite declining 1.02%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.0569% and India's Sensex dipped 2.12%. Broker Recommendation Analysts at JP Morgan upgraded Bally Technologies Inc BYI from “neutral” to “overweight.” The target price for Bally Technologies has been raised from $35 to $47.   • Clearwire Corporation CLWR today announced that the underwriters exercised their option to purchase an additional $52.5 million, or 26,250,000 shares, of Clearwire's Class A Common Stock in the previously announced $350.0 million public offering of Clearwire's Class A Common Stock (the "initial shares"), resulting in a total sale to the public of 201,250,000 shares of Class A Common Stock.
