Roche To Acquire Anadys Pharmaceuticals For $230M

Roche Holding AG RHHBY agreed to buy Anadys Pharmaceuticals Inc ANDS for $230 million in cash. Roche will pay $3.7 per Anadys share, representing a 256% premium to the stocks' closing price of on October 14. ANDS shares jumped 244.23% to $3.58 in pre-market trading, while RHHBY shares gained 1.78% to close at $40.10 on Friday.
