Stocks Waver as Investors Eye Earnings, Euro Rescue Fund

(TheStreet) -- Continued uncertainty over when Europe would be able to expand its bailout fund tempered momentum on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was gaining 8 points, or 0.07%, at 11,441. Of the 30 components on the Dow, 21 were slipping with Alcoa AA, JPMorgan Chase JPM and Bank of America BAC leading the way. Pfizer PFE and Home Depot HD were the biggest laggards. Tech and transportation were the best performing sectors. The tech heavy Nasdaq was up 13 points, or 0.52%, at 2579 while the S&P 500 was up 1 point, or 0.1%, 1196. Continue reading the article.
