has released an official statement in response to the Supreme Court's decision that California's video game ban to minors
is unconstitutional
. “We are pleased with the decision of the Supreme Court, which reaffirms that freedom of artistic expression is protected by our Constitution,” said Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two Interactive. “For those who create interactive entertainment, as well as the many millions of consumers who are delighted by it, today's decision is a great victory. With that said, we take our social responsibilities seriously, and are committed to producing and marketing our entertainment products in strict accordance with our industry's guidelines." shared his thoughts
on the ruling. “Everybody wins on this decision – the Court has affirmed the Constitutional rights of game developers; adults keep the right to decide what's appropriate in their houses; and store owners can sell games without fear of criminal prosecution,” Riccitiello said.
