TransCanada Increases Dividend by 5% to $0.42

TransCanada Corporation TRP today announced that the Board of Directors (Board) of TransCanada declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per common share for the quarter ending March 31, 2011 on the Company's outstanding common shares, a five per cent increase over the $0.40 per share paid in each of the previous four quarters. The common share dividend is payable on April 29, 2011 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 31, 2011.
