Will Apple Ever Sell TV's? (AAPL)

That's what the report at Business Insider wants to know. Personally, I don't think it will, as TV prices are subjected to falling prices, as makers are able to make the sets faster, easier and cheaper, thanks to technology. The one thing Apple has going for it that other companies do not is brand cache. You don't develop brand cache by putting your stuff on sale every time a competitor does, and for Apple to stay relevant in the TV business, it would have to do just that. Apple has said in the past it has no interest in being in the TV market. I don't care how expensive LED televisions are, or their components get cheaper, to have better margins. It is a market which Apple will never enter, and never should. Just because it has 27" iMacs out already, doesn't mean anything. It could enter the market tomorrow if it really wanted to. It's not a matter of could, it's a matter of want. Just because some out there want it to, doesn't mean it will. Sorry guys, it's not happening.
