Cramer Advises His Viewers On Union Pacific, Gold, United Continental, Smith & Wesson And Sturm, Ruger & Company
On CNBC's Mad Money, Jim Cramer said that he wouldn't buy Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE: UNP), because he expects to see some short-term weakness. He likes the stock in the long term.
Every investor should have 10 percent of a portfolio invested in gold, thinks Cramer. He sees that as an insurance policy.
Cramer wouldn't hurry to buy the airlines stocks. He thinks that United Continental Holdings Inc (NYSE: UAL) is good, but he is recommending Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE: DAL) in the space.
Smith & Wesson Holding Corp (NASDAQ: SWHC) and Sturm, Ruger & Company (NYSE: RGR) have recently spiked and Cramer is tempted to buy them, because when a spike happens in the sector there are usually not many sellers.
