Jack Welch Says Einhorn Should "Take a Hike"

Legendary former General Electric GE Chairman Jack Welch dropped by CNBC's Squawk Box Thursday morning to gave some insightful responses to viewers. When asked what he'd tell Greenlight Capital's David Einhorn if he were Apple's AAPL CEO, he said: "Exactly what he has been told already: take a hike." Welch made the case that Einhorn's proposal added no real value to Apple, and that the company was on the right path. Welch said he'd tell Einhorn "I got the cash, I got the plan". Apple traded down roughly 0.30 percent in the pre-market to $467.01.
