TiVo Spikes on CNBC Speculation; Shares Back Near Intraday Lows

The shares of TiVo TIVO spiked sharply higher earlier today after it was mentioned as a potential takeover target on CNBC. However, the shares have erased the earlier gains though and are trading near intraday lows again. TiVo develops and provider of software, hardware, and services. The company's primary source of revenues is from consumers in its TiVo-Owned business, who subscribe directly to the TiVo service and pay TiVo monthly fees. TiVo is currently trading at $11.13, a loss of $0.15 or 1.33%.
