Vaccines are all the rage in the market today. Moderna MRNA announced positive vaccine news, piggybacking optimism from Pfizer PFE and BioNTech's BNTX positive vaccine news last week.

On CNBC's "Squawk on the Street," Jim Cramer discussed three vaccine plays that aren't health care companies: Simon Property Group SPG, Taubman Centers TCO and Federal Realty FRT are vaccine plays.

The aforementioned stocks are all real estate companies. Their portfolios include retail properties that have been heavily impacted by stay-at-home and social distancing orders. A vaccine could help bring this industry back.
