FORME (Nasdaq: TRNR) Is Now Publicly Traded And A New, Differentiated Player In The Digital At-Home Fitness Industry With This Unique Model

FORME TRNR is now publicly listed after an initial public offering (IPO) and it is looking to provide innovation to the at-home fitness market with a differentiated product offering.

Since the pandemic, there has been a shift towards at-home fitness as a convenient health solution, with the digital health and wellness industry currently worth over $19 billion. Exercise equipment and media company Peloton Interactive PTON generated excitement around its now famous exercise bikes in 2020, while other companies like Lululemon Athletica Inc. LULU-owned Mirror give users a studio membership to live group classes and a large library of workout videos.

FORME TRNR is a new arrival to the personal fitness industry and is introducing at-home live personal training services for the first time delivered through its award-winning connective hardware products. Powered by the belief that relationships are key to achieving fitness goals, FORME provides both an app and smart-mirror fitness hardware that connects its users to live, 1:1 sessions with top-quality personal trainers.

FORME Reports Its Trainers Get Users Real Results

FORME has two digitally connected fitness hardware products, the FORME Studio and the FORME Studio Lift,  and offers live individual training sessions through the hardware or through the FORME app. This combination means top-tier trainers are always available to FORME Members, whether they have access to their at-home gym or if they’re training on the road. Its personal training service offering is $149 per month, and Live 1:1 personal training programs are sold separately as an upgrade for $63 per session ($250 for a 4-pack). All Members participating in personal training have access to a VOD video library for free, or it can be purchased separately for $49 per month.

What seems to separate FORME from its peers is its emphasis on personal training, which has been consistently ranked as a top 10 fitness priority in the fitness market for over a decade. Getting healthy isn’t always easy, and there isn’t a one size fits all approach, which is why personal training has proven itself incredibly helpful to many in achieving their goals. Having a dedicated and motivating professional gives users the assurance that they are on the right track. It can also provide people with much-needed accountability when they hit a rut on their fitness journey. Members find that achieving fitness on their own is harder than when they have a personal trainer.

FORME is addressing several key drivers of health and fitness with its innovative approach. The company introduced the Studio Lift to the market for strength training, which significantly increased its total addressable market as strength training was ranked in the top two fitness trends for 2023. Moving beyond aerobic exercises like running or walking, research shows that weight and resistance training are key for maintaining a healthy body. Especially as people begin to age, strength training can offer benefits like lowered risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes and improved glucose metabolism. Research shows that strength training is the most important part of an exercise program for people over the age of 40.

That is why FORME created a personalized system to help their users get stronger. FORME believes that the relationships it provides through its coaches can make a difference to those who are not seeing real progress in their current routine. For people who are tired of failing to meet their health and wellness goals, FORME says it is here to help.
