June 28th Watchlist: Blackberry on Watch
Stocks have pushed well into negative territory before the markets open here after futures were up nicely earlier in the morning hours. The Asian markets continued to bounce in the overnight session with the Nikkei up 3.5%. Chicago PMI and Consumer Sentiment will be out right before 10 AM so be sure to watch if investors can get us back into positive territory.
Blackberry (NASDAQ: BBRY) is the top headline this morning after reporting a loss on earnings which was well below analyst estimates. The stock is down over 15% this morning and looking pretty devastated.
Trading ideas for me are again pretty light today as this choppy environment continues to push intraday traders on the wrong side. I've barely been making moves out here and am focused on protecting May's gains and not experience any sizeable drawdowns.
GOOD MORNING YOUNG WORLD!
