USD/CAD Steady ; Canadian GDP Eases, Price Deflator Rises

USD/CAD is trading at 1.3362, up 0.0005.

Statistics Canada reported that December real gross domestic product (GDP) rose 0.3 percent versus a rise of 0.5 percent in November. On the quarter Canada's fourth quarter GDP rose 0.6 percent versus a rise of 0.9 percent in the third quarter. The implicit price deflater rose 1.1 percent versus a rise of 0.6 percent in the third quarter.
