USD/CAD is trading at 1.3091, up 0.0071.

The pair is trading at the session highs after showing a steady trade early in the day. Market chatter about headline news and Canadian economic data due out this week is making the rounds.

Statistics Canada is set to release Canadian building permit figures Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. ET.
