Lean Hog Futures Higher

April lean hogs are trading at 69.82, up 0.57 cents/lb. June lean hogs are trading at 77.97, up 0.35 cents/lb Lean hog futures are trading higher just after the open. Tuesday's USDA hog slaughter was 440,000 head, the total for the week is now 883,000 head. Some chatter about traders starting to buy June Hogs and selling April is starting to show up.
