Thursday's USDA cattle slaughter was 113,000 head versus 112,000 head a year ago.
February live cattle is trading at 118.47, down 1.42 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 117.35, down 1.35 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 106.85, down 1.25 cents/lb.
