USDA Export Sales; Soybean Futures Lower

The USDA reported today that Soybean weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending January 12th totaled 979,600 tonnes. Sales were up 22 percent from the four week average. Soymeal sales for the current year totaled 269,800 tonnes. Sales were up 82 percent from the four week average. There were 48,800 tonnes sold for 2018. Soybean Oil sales for the current year totaled 41,500 tonnes. March Soybeans are trading at 1063 1/2, down 6 3/4 cents/bushel. March Soymeal is trading at 346.4, down 1.6 $/ton. March Soybean Oil is trading at 35.30, down 0.14 cents/lb.
