U.S. Dollar Index Lower Ahead of Data

The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 101.05, down 0.69. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading rangebound and a little above the session lows. Market talk about headline news and comments from various policy makers has kept buyers and sellers very active. Market chatter about U.S. economic data due out Friday is starting to show up. The Census Bureau's monthly report on U.S. retail sales is set for release at 8:30 a.m. ET. The Bureau of Labor Statistics is scheduled to release producer price (PPI) data at 8:30 a.m. ET. The University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey is due out at 10:00 a.m. ET. The Census Bureau is scheduled to release business inventories at 10:00 a.m. ET.
