Live Cattle Futures Little Higher

February live cattle is trading at 117.57, up 0.30 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 115.22, up 0.07 cents/lb. Live cattle futures are trading steady to higher just after the open. Wednesday's USDA estimated cattle slaughter was 115,000 head , the total cattle slaughter for the week is now 238,000 head.
