USDA Export Sales; Soybean Futures Lower

The USDA reported today that Soybean weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending December 15th totaled 1,812,700 tonnes. Sales were down 10 percent from the previous week and up 9 percent from the four week average. Soymeal sales for the current year totaled 139,200 tonnes. Sales were down 30 percent from the previous week and down 30 percent from four week average. Soybean Oil sales for the current year totaled 15,100 tonnes. Sales were down 63 percent from previous week and 55 percent the four week average. January Soybeans are trading at 999 1/2, down 7 1/4 cents/bushel. January Soymeal is trading at 308.3, down 1.2 $/ton. January Soybean Oil is trading at 35.57, down 0.47 cents/lb.
