U.S. Dollar Index Extends Losses Ahead of Data

The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 100.28, down 0.57. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading a new lows for the day. Market talk about global headline news and comments from policy makers has kept buyers and sellers active. Chatter about U.S. economic data due out Tuesday is starting to show up. The Census Bureau is scheduled to release export and import data along with the U.S. trade balance at 8:30 a.m. ET. The Bureau of Labor Statistics is scheduled to report non-farm productivity and unit labor costs at 8:30 a.m. ET. The Census Bureau is scheduled to release factory order data at 10:00 a.m. ET.
