EUR/USD Plunges Ahead of Data

EUR/USD is trading at 1.0576, down 0.0071. The pair has plunged as overseas forex traders wind down trading for the day. Market chatter about European headline news and global money flows is making the rounds. Talk about European economic data due out Thursday is starting to show up. The Euro area manufacturing PMI (purchasing managers survey) is scheduled for release at 4:00 a.m. ET. Italy's National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) is scheduled to release unemployment data at 4:00 a.m. ET. Eurostat is scheduled to report Euro area unemployment data at 5:00 a.m. ET. Italy's National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) is scheduled to release third quarter gross domestic product (GDP) at 5:00 a.m. ET. Trading is brisk.
